The Winning Men's Team Division 3 Metropolitan Spring League 2007
(From L to R: Scot, Adam, Alex, Sam)

Chairman Dave Dixon would like to offer congratulations to Team Captain Adam Heaton, Alex Heaton,
Scot Hatfield, Sam Oliver, Richard Turner and Sarah Messenger on a superb season.

Paul Messenger would also like to congratulate several of his junior players on their superb efforts at the recent
DFS Classic Tournament in Edgbaston. Angela, Charlie, Emily, Hamish, Megan, Oliver and Phoebe represented
St Mary and St Margarets Junior School in the finals of the Warwickshire Schools Mini Tennis. The club is very
proud to have these children as members and if they continue to improve they will be a tremendous asset to the club.

Paul went along to the tournament and was impressed that the standard was really high. Our juniors did themselves
proud on the day and our club coaches are very pleased with the progress they have made this summer.

The Tennis Section would like to thank Cable Detection for their kind sponsorship during 2007.

In addition to our Junior, Youth and Adult Sections, this year we have set up
Mini Tennis Groups for younger children and a new Intermediate Youth Section.

Don't forget the club is open every Friday and Saturday from 8pm until 11pm. Families are welcome and so are your friends. You are all paid up members, so we look forward to seeing you from time to time. Remember you can bring in the family - and it's cheaper and safer than going to the pub. (Well, some of them anyway!)
