Dates and Results for 2008

The 2006 season saw Castle Bromwich enter into League Tennis for the first time ever, with an adult mens team entered into the Spring League Division 3. In the 2007 season the team exceeded their expectations and won the Metropolitan Spring League Division 3 by a clear 8 points, having gone through all fixtures without losing.

This has resulted in the team being promoted to Division 2 for the 2008 season. To prepare for the new season indoor courts at the Norman Green Centre have been booked from 7.00 pm until 8.00 pm Sunday evenings, commencing 3 February.
Would anyone wishing to join the Spring League team please try to attend.

The Tennis Section would like to thank Cable Detection for their continued sponsorship during 2008.

The section has plans to raise funding to purchase a Ball Machine which would fire tennis balls.
This would be ideal for adult and junior practice sessions.

Don't forget the club is open every Friday and Saturday from 8pm until 11pm. Families are welcome and so are your friends. You are all paid up members, so we look forward to seeing you from time to time. Remember you can bring in the family - and it's cheaper and safer than going to the pub. (Well, some of them anyway!)
